The 2017 Parachute Gala will be held at Rebel in Toronto on May 31st, 2017. The Parachute Board of Directors, members of the medical community, celebrities, community leaders, and entertainers will join together to raise awareness and funds for one important cause.

Dan Aykroyd is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, producer, voice artist, screenwriter, musician and businessman. He was a regular
on Saturday Night Live
from 1975 to 1979, and has made many additional appearances since. A musical sketch performed with John Belushi led to the creation of the touring band called The Blues Brothers and a highly successful 1980 film of the same name. He conceived and starred in the comedy hit Ghostbusters (1984), which a spawned a sequel and a media franchise. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in Driving Miss Daisy (1989), and co-founded both the House of Blues chain of venues and the Crystal Head Vodka brand.


Michael Che

Michael Che is currently the co-anchor of Saturday Night Live's iconic "Weekend Update" segment where he is also a staff writer for the show. He also recently released his first hour-long stand-up special entitled Michael Che Matters on Netflix. His first special aired
in 2014 on Comedy Central's The Half-Hour stand-up series. Prior to joining SNL, Che was part of "The Best F*&#ing News Team Ever!"
as a correspondent on Comedy Central's Emmy & Peabody Award-winning program The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

Stephan Moccio

Stephan Moccio is a Grammy and Academy Award nominated composer, songwriter, producer, and musician.
He co-wrote Miley Cyrus' quintuple platinum "Wrecking Ball", Celine Dion's record breaking hit "A New Day Has Come", Canada's 2010 Olympic theme song "I Believe", as well as co-wrote/co-produced The Weeknd's "Earned It" for Fifty Shades of Grey.  Moccio has written/produced songs for some of the world's top artists including Seal, Ne-Yo, Jon Bellion, John Legend, and James Blunt.
